PhotoStamps

The Smoking Gun has fome 'fun' with PhotoStamps.

Are You a Liberal?

Or Pinko/Commie/Donk/French, which ever you prefer. Questions shamelessly pulled from Dennis Prager.
You say you are a liberal.
Do you believe the following?
1. Standards for admissions to universities, fire departments, etc. should be lowered for people of color.
2. Bilingual education for children of immigrants, rather than immersion in English, is good for them and for America.
3. Murderers should never be put to death.
4. During the Cold War, America should have adopted a nuclear arms freeze.
5. Colleges should not allow ROTC programs.
6. It was wrong to wage war against Saddam Hussein in the Gulf War.
7. Poor parents should not be allowed to have vouchers to send their children to private schools.
8. It is good that trial lawyers and teachers unions are the two biggest contributors
to the Democratic Party.
9. Marriage should be redefined from male-female to any two people.
10. A married couple should not have more of a right to adopt a child than two men or two women.
11. The Boy Scouts should not be allowed to use parks or any other public places and should be prohibited from using churches and synagogues for their meetings.
12. The present high tax rates are good.
13. Speech codes on college campuses are good and American values.
14. The Israelis and Palestinians are morally equivalent.
15. The United Nations is a moral force for good in the world, and therefore America should be subservient to it and such international institutions as a world court.
16. It is good that colleges have dropped hundreds of men's sports teams in order to meet gender-based quotas.
17. No abortions can be labeled immoral.
18. Restaurants should be prohibited by law from allowing customers to choose between a smoking and a non-smoking section.
19. High schools should make condoms available to students and teach them how to use them.
20. Racial profiling for terrorists is wrong -- a white American grandmother should as likely be searched as a Saudi young male.
21. Racism and poverty -- not a lack of fathers and a crisis of values -- are the primary causes of violent crime in the inner city.
22. It is wrong and unconstitutional for students to be told, "God bless you" at their graduation.
23. No culture is morally superior to any other.
Those are all liberal positions.
How many of them do you hold?
Here's a surprise, I went 0/23.

Who's the New Coach?

Ask the Bookies. Apparently they bet on anything and everything in England, even the new manager of Newcastle United.

Don't worry, I'll do it for you

With the growing threat of a nuclear Iran it quickly becomes a serious issue that needs a solid plan to be dealt with. Of course when you want a solid plan to solve a serious problem you turn to John Kerry or his surrogate John Edwards:
If elected U.S. president, Sen. John Kerry would offer Iran a deal allowing it to keep its nuclear power plants if it gave up the right to retain bomb-making nuclear fuel, Kerry's vice presidential running mate said in an interview published on Monday.
Sen. John Edwards told The Washington Post that if Iran did not accept this "great bargain," this would confirm the Islamic state was building nuclear weapons under cover of a nuclear power initiative.
If Iran rejected this proposal, Kerry would ensure European allies were prepared to join the United States in imposing strict sanctions against Iran, Edwards said.
"If we are engaging with Iranians in an effort to reach this great bargain and if in fact this is a bluff that they are trying to develop nuclear weapons capability, then we know that our European friends will stand with us," said the North Carolina Democrat.
First off isn't it already confirmed that Iran is building nuclear weapons? Do we really need to deliberate that they have the desire for them. Of course who would supervise Iran to make sure they weren't making bombs...the UN of course and they've been doing such a great job in Iran so far. Then if they don't comply, bring in the European Allies...yeah all the European Allies if that happens I'm the Queen of England.
Of course we've tried this "Okay we'll give you the fuel and pretty please with sugar on top don't make any weapons, okay?" with North Korea (mega dittos to Half-bright and Carter on that winner of a plan) and we know how well that one worked out.

What was I thinking?

Well apparently I wasn't (or should of done a better job of prioritizing my draft order). But regardless here is my "talented" team that will be facing off in the So Cal Law Blog organized fantasy football.
QBs - Drew Bledsoe, Byron Leftwich
WRs - Eric Moulds, Jerry Porter, Justin McCareins, Kevin Johnson
RBs - Julius Jones, Curtis Martin, Charlie Garner
TEs - Kellen Winslow, Bubba Franks
Ks - Mike Vanderjagt, Martin Gramatica
DEFs - Buffalo, Minnesota
D - Allen Rossum
It may just turn out to be a very long season, kind of like how Kerry feels.
