My International Appeal

Well I got mentioned on a Dutch Blog here. Please respond to his glowing praise of F911 (despite extensive misrepresentations of facts and actually read it, it cites specific sources where Moore intentionally left out facts to get the story he wanted or just fabricated what he needed), of course the idea of anything other than a leftist media in most of Europe is quite foreign and is such a shame. Even post the disgusting slime of,
Besides that the poverty in America was only used in a part about the
recruitment of soldiers. While it actually could have been one of the major
points in the movie.

Of course this ignores the stories and dedication of good people like Pat Tillman, but if $3.6 million is poverty its a poverty I'd gladly live in. Its called a volunteer military for a reason, people volunteer to serve their country and it may be a shock to you, but they are proud of what they do. Also see Mad Mikey & Citizen Smash to see what people who served are like. Of course America is so improvised that all but 3 states (and many cities on their own) have bigger economies and GDP per capita than most of Europe.
Do you really beleieve Iraq was a paradise? What would the 400,000+ people in mass graves picnics say? Or the thousands of Kurds that Saddam killed using WMDs love?

Off for a few days, more to come later.

The Elitist Quiz

From the Monkeys, What Kind of Elitist are You?

Not too suprising, although I'm more of a beer drinker.
HASH(0x8a99990)
You know which wines go best with which foods, and
you can make New York City's finest sommalier
feel like a kid at a keg party. You wanna take
that Emeril guy and beat him with a stick, but
really - you've got more class than that.
What people love: You know the best restaurants and
what their specialties are.
What people hate: Every waiter in town wants to
mangle your pretentious ass.

America & Europe

Good Article here.

I thought Wal-Mart was the Evil Empire?

Turns out Wal-Mart workers do have hearts. The helped foil an attempt to steal a $25,000 from a elderly women, even worse the Wal-Mart Employees cared more about the woman's finances more than her bank.

Shipwreck...soo cool

Okay to me atleast because SCUBA Diving is one of my hobbies. They found a old ice hauler from the 1860's off the coast of Alaska. I "found" a shipwreck once, it was a 20' Ledo. It was probably dumped there to just get rid of it, but it was still cool.

Response to Toe Crusher

This is in response to this post.
* O, yes, the facts here are completely true. I'll add something to the list.- 18% of the poor have a dishwasher nowadays. In 1814 0% of the rich have one. That must mean that the poor are actually filthy rich, right?
No, it means the standard to which makes someone "in poverty" is always changing and that needs to be considered when you discuss poverty. Being below the poverty line in a nation like Uganda is nothing like being under the poverty line in Greece, which is not very similar being below the poverty line in the US. In fact as the standard of living, GDP, economy, etc change in America it raises the bar for everyone, even poverty. What was a luxury for the rich 40 years ago is now common place for most families.
*what's with this link?
This link ties into the above about how the poverty line is formulated in America which has a effect on income taxes and the such.
* "But he said war could have been avoided if the UN had passed a resolution threatening military action. " Besides, have you SEEN fahrenheit 9-11? Not just seen the criticism on it but the movie itself as well?
Two minor problems with that France and Russia hold a veto and they would of vetoed any resolution involving military action. Have not seen F911, but I have read most of the script and much of the criticism. Sure some people believe the whole movie, but they exist in the fever swamp of politics; he manipulates facts, only represents what he wants, has odd jumps in logic(ie Bush is a tool of the Saudis but went to a war[Iraq & Afghanistan] the Saudis or Bush is in the pocket of Texas Oil men who set up a deal with the Taliban for a oil pipeline, then why did he overthrow the Taliban?) and conveniently leaves out facts that contradict what he says. He also relies on people proven to be frauds, see Joe Wilson & Dick Clarke. And how effective would the UN resolution be, they can't even agree to stop the mass murder of hundreds of thousands in Sudan (another set of sanctions the French threaten to veto) and aid workers can't go in the country because the UN wants to respect the Sudanese VISAs. We let the UN deal with the Sudan issue and as debate and negotiation continues, more people are murdered. Moore said that the Iraqis should of risen up and overthrown Saddam, well that was attempted and 400,000+ people eneded up executed and dumped in mass graves.
* Well, that's a real reason to go to war, right? The gut feeling of a weapon inspector. I bet he has a gut feeling as well that Israel has WMD's too. Ready to attack?
Isn't Blix being dishonest in think Iraq had weapons than turning around and sayting they don't? By the fact they have found weapons and delivery systems that were undeclared show that he wasn't very good at finding them? And if it looks like they were old weapons does it not show the successful concealment from the UN Inspectors. Actually if it wasn't for Israel, Iraq would have nuclear weapons in the hands of a despot who is a enthusiastic supporter of terrorism, who in a memo written (under the Clinton Admin) by Dick Clarke would be the next haven for Osama is he was forced out of Afghanistan. Israel doesn't support terrorism and has not desire to give their WMD program to support the mass murder of civilians.
* Yeah, they might have said that, so what? Apparently there weren't any. There was no danger...I have chemical weapons in my home as well. Bleachwater, white spirit. All dangerous chemicals. If I were Bush I'd start to attack my house as well.
If you were plotting to commit terrorist acts, I'd hope he would. Also they have found evidence of weapons still being there that were undeclared along with delivery systems (also undeclared) that were shipped out as scrap metal to other countries, one of which was yours.
* I believe this doesn't do anything about my arguments? You have an expert, an assistant professor of economics, at your side. Do you need me to look for experts who join my side?
It brings up the point that crippling economies is not a solution do global warming and the prediction models are inherently flawed. So flawed in fact that a butterfly flapping its wings in California can raise the temperature in Florida 5 degrees. Technological solutions need to be developed to make pollution emitting systems cleaner and develop new ways to deal with pollution for a net environmental benefit. Here in California pollution control is narrowly minded based on specific regulations for specific sites. It cause huge problems because the regulators fail to look at the entire system and nothing gets done, because the standards are unobtainable. It cripples any innovation in developing methods to deal with issues of air and water pollution.
* "No matter that history has demonstrated their failure, they continue" this is where I wanted to stop reading. As I said, the SU didn't do everything correct. They screwed up.You named your link 'socialism vs freedom'. Capitalism is not freedom. Capitalism is making us work jobs we don't want to buy shit we don't need. That is capitalism. Capitalism is in it's current form trying to be a consumers mind by making enough commercials...
Capitalism doesn't make you do anything. There are built in rewards for working hard. You make money to do with what you please some people buy cars other people sign their kids up for Little League. Yes you do have to work, work to generate a good or service for someone else. Many people do work hard, hard to support their families, a given lifestyle, or to help other people. People depend less on the government to give them "hand outs", but it doesn't mean people who need help aren't taken care of. America leads the world in giving aid, Americans give more of their money per capita than any other nation to charities that help other people. If you give the same amount of money to a charity and the government more of the money will be used to help people through a charity than through the government. Even in America there is a gap between red sates and blue states, where states that are a majority Republican give more to charity per capita than states that go Democrat (the trend also continues with religious people give more than non-religious people to help others). Capitalism rewards people for hard work, Socialism punishes it. Capitalism is freedom to work where you want and to take money you work hard to earn and spend it how you want.
* "The effective tax level is around 70 percent, not the 50 percent that is usually reported" I'm not an expert in Danish economics but I'm quite certain that it's maximum 70%. I think the income gets cut in parts. from 0-15000Euro 15000-35000Euro 35000-50000Euro and above 50000Euro (figures are fictional, just meant for this example). Only in that last category the tax level is 70%. That means that every Euro you earn above that 50000 gets that tax level. Below that you get a lower level. As a matter of fact I support a similar system here in Holland."In the early 1970s only about 300,000 people of working age lived full-time all year on government welfare. Today it is about 900,000." Undoubtedly true. But that has to do with conjuncture..."Of the people who do get married, more people get a divorce today. In 1975, 18 per cent of all the marriages from 1950 had ended in a divorce during the preceding 25 years. In 1995, 36 per cent of the marriages from 1970 had ended in a divorce." To older people divorce is a bigger problem because of religion and such...This article seems to be full of bullshit.
He was referring to not just income tax but all the other taxes on typical goods and services that are paid by the common person. So the lower levels may pay a lower income tax, but they get hit at the same rate for the taxes on goods and services. As far as the 200% increase in people on welfare, it corresponds with virtually no change in over all population so you have more people on welfare being supported by fewer people working. The choice there is cut welfare, get more people, or most likely raise taxes more. Then why would you work if you get even less of a reward for your effort, because you work less for yourself and work even more for the "state". Thats a major folly of socialism it expects people to work for next to nothing, while capitalism people work because there is a reward. (Which is why I am for getting rid of income tax and basing the tax system on a consumption tax.) As far as divorce, I would disagree at least in America it has been shown that people who lead a religious based life are far less likely to divorce than couples who are not. Also the divorce stats are skewed because it also has shown people who have divorced are more likely to divorce again, so you get repeat offenders who skew the numbers upwards.
*I'll read the last case study another time...

From Miss Attila I got to this article:
The images many Europeans hold of America and Israel create the political climate for some very ugly bias. You have the Great Satan and the Small Satan. America wants to dominate the world—exactly the allegations made in traditional anti-Semitic rhetoric about the Jews. Indeed, modern anti-Zionist rhetoric portrays Israel's goal as domination of the whole Middle East. Such ideas are reflected in opinions polls in which Europeans claim that Israel and the US are the true dangers to world peace.
Ian Buruma, the British writer, claims that this European rage against America and Israel has to do with guilt and fear. The two world wars led to such catastrophic carnage that "never again" was interpreted as "welfare at home, non-intervention abroad." The problem with this concept is that it could only survive under the protection of American might.
Extreme anti-Americanism and anti-Zionism are actually merging. The so-called peace poster "Hitler Had Two Sons: Bush and Sharon," displayed in European anti-war rallies, combines trivialization of Nazism with demonization of both the victims of Nazism and those who defeated Nazism.
Much of this grows from a subconscious European guilt related to the Holocaust. Now the Holocaust's victims—and their children and grandchildren—are supposedly doing to others what was done to them. By equating the murderer and the victim, we wash our hands.
This pattern of anti-Zionism and anti-Americanism returns again and again. "The ugly Israeli" and "the ugly American" seem to be of the same family. "The ugly Jew" becomes the instrumental part of this defamation when so-called neoconservatives are blamed both for American militarism and Israeli brutalities and then selectively named: Wolfowitz, Perle, Abrams, Kristol, etc. This is a new version of the old myth that Jews rule the US.
Earlier this year, the editor of Die Zeit, Josef Joffe, put his finger on the issue: like Jews, Americans are said to be selfish and arrogant. Like Jews, they are in thrall to a fundamentalist religion that renders them self-righteous and dangerous. Like Jews, Americans are money-grabbing capitalists, for whom the highest value is the cash nexus. "America and Israel are the outsiders—just as Jews have been all the way into the 21st century," Joffe says.
The links between anti-Semitism, anti-Zionism, and anti-Americanism are all too real. Unless Europe's leaders roundly condemn this unholy triple alliance, it will poison Middle East politics and transatlantic relations alike.

A fantastic article, even more amazing is it was written by a Swede (any word on if this article actually got published in Sweden?) but will the majority of Europeans understand it?  If Europe doesn't wake up from this "Swedenization" of Europe, how much longer will Europe be around?  I do worry for Europe, I enjoy going there and there is more of it I want to see.  But the way things are going time is running out for Europe.  The burden to change will once again fall on the shoulders of the only English speaking country there to change the course in which Europe is headed.  The influx of the former Bloc countries who know what is like to live in fear under a brutal totalitarian regime.  Maybe Old Europe will heed their stories and realize how lucky they were not to be swallowed by communist expansion and that they are being swallowed by radicals right now.  They may wake up from the haze in the future, but then again I could be Queen of England.

Waiting Game

"Any attack will be met with a swift and certain response."
So lets not offend anyone, wait till more Amricans get killed. Then Kerry might do something.

Lefty Protestors, Making Stupid Mainstream

Well based on the LA model of 2000, the leftists were bound to get aggressive and start causing problems of the violent/disgraceful type.

Wow someone must of gone to college to learn that because no one knew that pens were for animals, although I bet animals have a better grasp of personal hygiene than the protestors.  In fact that sign is an insult to all self-respecting animals, get PETA on this one.  The sign should read: "America Puts us in Pens, Communists send us to the Gulag* *If they don't shoot us first."

Ah a good little pinko making her parents (& professors) proud.  I have an idea for a new protest poster, "Burn a tree not the Flag."
Now why again exactly are they complaining about being in pens?

Ah my favorite part of protests, the hippie-pinko-commie beat down session.  Nothing says fun like when white-racist-imperial cops hamper "free-speech."  What?! That's a black cop?  Well he must be paid window dressing by the white-racist-imperialists in the White House call the ACLU hotline.

Another One Bites the Dust

Looks like Federal "pound-me-in-the-ass" Prison is getting some fresh Al Qaeda meat.  For you nuts that discredit anything using the word "Foxnews" you can see it here or here and Joo haters can go here.
Pakistan has arrested Ahmed Khalfan Ghailani, a Tanzanian Al Qaeda suspect with a $5 million reward on his head in connection with the dual 1998 bombings at U.S. embassies in Kenya and Tanzania, the interior minister said Friday.

Another win for the good guys!

Looks Like We Got One

A South African woman picked up in Texas almost 10 days ago may turn out to be a key, high-level al-Qaida operative.  Her name is Farida Goolam Mohamed Ahmed. She was stopped at McAllen Miller International Airport on July 19 headed to New York.

And the Award for Best Actor Goes to.....John Kerry

Via Drudge.
A naval officer in the upcoming book Unfit For Command charges:

Kerry would revisit ambush locations for reenacting combat scenes where he would portray the hero, catching it all on film.  Kerry would take movies of himself walking around in combat gear, sometimes dressed as an infantryman walking resolutely through the terrain.  He even filmed mock interviews of himself narrating his exploits.  A joke circulated among Swiftees was that Kerry left Vietnam early not because he received three Purple Hearts, but because he had recorded enough film of himself to take home for his planned political campaigns.

This just cracks me up because Kerry shows his ability to sing in one key, "me, me, me, me."  In fact Lt. Col. Robert "Buzz" Patterson highlights Kerry's early propaganda exploits in his book Reckless Disregard: How Liberal Democrats Undercut Our Military, Endanger Our Soldiers, and Jeopardize Our Security:

On February 28, 1969, now in charge of PCF 94, Kerry came under fire from an enemy location on the shore. The crew's gunner returned fire, hitting and wounding the lone gunman. Kerry directed the boat to charge the enemy position. Beaching his boat, Kerry jumped off, chased the wounded insurgent behind a thatched hutch, and killed him. Kerry and his crew returned within days, armed with a Super 8 video camera he had purchased at the post exchange at Cam Ranh Bay, and reenacted the skirmish on film.

Of course every soldier revisits a combat scenes to reenact them so he can take them home and use it to run for office, oh wait they don't.  Makes you wonder if Kerry ever does anything that isn't in his own self glorification/gain.  I doubt he does, in fact look at his flip flops, errr I mean nuanced positions which he will happen to agree with anyone for those 15 minutes it is politically convenient to do so.
Upon another example of why we don't want Kerry to win and Democrats in charge of anything (even dogcatcher), I must plug Hugh's book, If It's Not Close, They Can't Cheat: Crushing the Democrats in Every Election and Why Your Life Depends on ItBuy it, read it, and give one to the Fever Swamp.

Update:  Citizen Smash has his take on this to.

Left Discovery Of Unborn Rights

Well it looks like the left finally found a unborn child that actually has rights. Of course its an arguement for a woman who was being deported. The money quote comes from the (yes you guessed it) lawyer:
"The child was conceived in the United States and would have been born in the United States except that the mother was deported. Through no part of his own, the unborn baby is in Mexico."

But its good to know the system works:
Rubio was deported after she went to what her husband says was to be a status conference on her residency request. Immigration officials say the pregnant Rubio was immediately deported after it was discovered her residency request had been denied two years before and that she had previously entered the country illegally. Lopez, who did not attend that hearing, said he never received notice of the denial and that Rubio had continued to receive work permits.

Oh wait, nevermind. When do you think the ACLU will get involved? So if it comes to killing a unborn child its okay because the unborn child has no right, but not to let the child of a illegal immigrant be born in the US is a volation of the rights of a unborn child.

Just another example of leftist logic, 1 + 1 = fish.

Canadians are wierd AND perverted

Canadian immigration officers now require nude pictures of all foreign exotic dancers for their, um, files. Border patrol jobs now sought by teenage boys.

Spend, Spend, Spend

I guess Kerry is trying to spend all of his funds a s fast as possible because I have heard at least one Kerry ad every hour or two on KRLA for the past two days.  Although it is quite funny to go from Savage to a Kerry ad then back to Savage.  However I doubt Kerry ads on a conservative talk radio station will get him much support, hearing more meaningless crap about Kerry will on reinforce the listeners desire to vote against Kerry.

Today's Plug

Fair Tax.  It will be permanently added to my links also.

Reference Blitz for Toecrusher

Chances are AMERICA'S POOR have much better stuff than your parents had when you were a kid.
How poverty is defined. Also note 5% is the general rule for "full-employment".
Clinton says Iraq couldn't be avoided .
Blix kept belieft that Iraq WMD to himself.
UN admits Saddam had WMD.
Use technology to solve global warming.
Socialism vs. Freedom.

Hollywood Update

I just found this headline funny: "Fahrenheit 9/11" passes $100m at the box office. That's almost enough money for Michael Moore to roll in. (For people who don't get it, its because he is morbidly obese)
Also.....Catwoman tanked because "Boys like to see the word 'man', not 'woman' in their action flicks." Sucking apparently not a factor.
