Oil
One of my neighbors last year had the sign "No War For OIL!" taped all over her car. Turns out she was right.
Say No to the Iraq War and get some oil from Iraq.

Took him long enough
California Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger announced that the marriage licenses San Francisco is issuing to same-sex couples are illegal, after the city sued the state over a law banning such marriages.
"The marriage certificates submitted to the Department of Health Services by the city and county of San Francisco fail to meet legal standards," Schwarzenegger said in a statement on his Web site.
Its good to see Arnold, dispute personal beliefs, stood up for the law and the voters of California. But what also arises from this is the glaring media bias. Judge Roy Moore doesn't listen to the courts over his Ten Commandments Monument and the press crucifies him. Gavin Newsome breaks the law and goes against the will of the voters and he's a hero.

The Real Deal II
The Onion gracefully points out that Kerry is filthy rich and a sleaze ball...
"Federal Election Commission records show that Kerry purchased The Real Deal II in December 2003 for $2.5 million. The Kerry campaign's 2003 fourth-quarter filings show that the yacht required $200,000 of work to prepare it for the Midwest campaign voyage. Repairs included a tune-up of the vessel's twin diesel engine, the installation of a Navman color GPS-plotting navigation system, and the addition of red, white, and blue detailing to the yacht's leather interior."

Rugby, Rugby, Rugby
Well the IRB 7's series made a stop in Los Angeles this weekend.
The winners were:
Cup: Argentina
Plate: England
Bowl: Australia
Shield: USA
It was a great weekend, I had a blast watching all 40 plus games with the fans from Kenya, who were just the most upbeat happy fans around. The games were exciting and hardly produced a dull moment, for those in the area who did not attend, you missed out (although if you could actually afford NBA all-star tickets, its understandable to miss the game). Can't wait for it to be back next year (I hope its back).
On a side note. Saw "Miracle" on Monday, it was a great film and I recommend it highly. They did a good job of framing the movie interns of what had been happening in the 70's. Which was the actual fear that we were losing the Cold War and the Communists were taking land and winning battles on every front all over the world.
